Meet the Team
Ken Russ, DBIA
President
Ken Russ has lived in the Norwalk area all of his life. Ken started his career with an architectural firm owned by Charles Effinger in1988. While working at the architects office Ken discovered Autocad in its infancy. He spent many hours studying and became a proficient self taught Autocad user and instructor. In 1996 he went from Architectural Draftsman/Designer to Project Manager and went on to became Senior Manager while also leading a team of Project Managers. In 2007, he achieved his Design Build Certification through the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA). At that time, he was 1 of a 1,000 across the United States to hold this certification. In 2008, Ken went out on his own and is now the owner of Russwood Enterprises, LTD that does business as Legends, a General Contracting Company.
Bryan Roberts
Vice President
Bryan Roberts grew up and currently resides in Berlin Heights. He was raised around the construction business with his parents being small business owners in the same town. Bryan started his career with a general contractor out of Clyde, OH. A year later he took an opportunity to advance his expertise with Legends General Contractors. He has been with Legends since 2012. From laborer, to superintendent, to project manager, he is multi-faceted when it comes to the construction business. Bryan has hands on experience and is passionate about every task he undertakes.
Jim Waller
Project Manager
Jim Waller grew up in Amherst, Ohio and moved to Norwalk in 2014. He started working in the construction industry right out of high school and continued while attending college. Jim began his college career studying education at Cleveland State University, however his enthusiasm for the construction industry sparked him to take his talents to Bowling Green State University and major in Construction Management. After attending school, Jim spent the next 20 years working as a Foreman for a local company. In 2021, Jim decided he wanted to further his career as a Project Manager and came to work for Legends General Contractors.
Taylor Hartman
Director of Operations
Taylor Hartman has lived in the Norwalk area all of her life. She graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2016. Her studies were focused on Accounting and Management. She started working in May of 2016 as Assistant Office Manager and quickly became Office Manager later that year. Taylor also manages several sister companies along with other established local businesses in our area.
